Typically, a winter duvet is one with a tog rating of 10.5 or over, designed specifically to give you optimal warmth during the colder months. While this traditional winter duvet is a mix of feather and down, it’s worth noting the ratio of its makeup. It’s fashioned from 90 per cent duck feathers and 10 per cent down (these lighter fibres come from the fluffy underbelly of the bird and are therefore much softer – and sought after).
