FTC Announces Refund Process for DreamCloud Mattress Buyers

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently introduced a claims process for consumers who purchased DreamCloud mattresses and were influenced by the company’s false claims regarding the product being “proudly made with 100% USA-made premium quality materials.” In 2021, the FTC sued the company responsible for DreamCloud mattresses, revealing they actually contained significant imported materials, with some being wholly imported.

As part of the settlement, the company agreed to provide refunds to affected consumers. The FTC is notifying eligible consumers via email and mail, providing them with claim numbers to apply for refunds via the commission website. If the decision to purchase the mattress was influenced by false claims about its origin, consumers can apply for a refund through this process.
