Fire museum to auction quilt at annual meeting

Quilt available for auction at the Hinckley Fire Museum.

The annual meeting of the Hinckley Fire Museum will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10. The doors will be open at 6 p.m. for socializing and browsing.

The musicians will be setting up and warming up in the freight room and the public is welcome to attend. Beverages and sweet treats will be provided, and the quilt which was made and donated by The Comfort Quilters will be on display for anyone interested in making a last-minute bid. The highest bidder will be announced at the end of the meeting.

Live music and entertainment will be rendered by Fred Lyon and Steve Johnson (they take requests).

The year 2023 has been one of the most successful years ever and board members will be reporting why that is true. It’s a chance to see some old friends as well as meet some new ones.
